Coquitlam’s Town Hall Meeting

The City of Coquitlam is holding a Town Hall Meeting next week to give members of the community an opportunity to voice their opinions, ask questions and suggest new ideas to Council.

Besides the Mayor and Council, other City of Coquitlam staff will be in attendance to best answer questions put forward by residents.

You can attend/view and participate in the Town Hall meeting by either in person, or online.

IN PERSON: All are welcome to attend the Town Hall Meeting in person. Participants attending the meeting at City Hall will be invited to the microphone to ask their question.

The questions submitted online prior to and/or during the Town Hall Meeting will be presented to Council in the order they were received. If there are several similar questions, only one may be put to Council. Not all questions may receive a response; however, every effort will be made to address as many queries as possible within the time allotted.

To ensure that everyone has access to responses to the submitted online questions, they will be provided by Council or staff via the live broadcast at coquitlam.ca/webcasts.

Questions will be moderated. That means that they are reviewed before they are submitted to Council to make sure they follow the City’s guidelines for a respectful meeting.
